About the network

The CICADA4CE Network of Experts connects cities and municipalities with professionals specialising in climate change adaptation, ecosystem services and participatory urban planning. By bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and the practical needs of local authorities, the network supports the development of climate-resilient environments and communities.

These experts bring valuable knowledge and experience in climate change adaptation and related fields. Through their diverse disciplinary backgrounds, they support cities and municipalities in developing, implementing and monitoring ecosystem- and community-based adaptation strategies and action plans. The network provides opportunities to exchange knowledge, contribute to real-world challenges and become part of a growing transnational community dedicated to strengthening climate resilience.

As the community continues to expand, the Network of Experts will remain active beyond the lifetime of the CICADA4CE project, fostering long-term collaboration, mutual learning and knowledge exchange on climate change adaptation across Europe.
